I was at a different Whole Foods then the one I go to on a regular basis and they didn’t carry your whole chicken so I bought one of theirs. Never again. Going forward if it is not your chicken I will do without. Your chickens are far superior to the rest. Keep up the good work!!

This is The Best Organic Chicken by far!!! The softest, the cleanest, and my 3 year old grandson loves it!! And I will keep buying it and will recommend it to all my friends.
I love your chicken but we pay a lot for it and a whole chicken should have the whole chicken. There are no chicken livers in your whole chickens! Please revise your policy.
Hi Victoria, We understand your desire for the giblets to be included in your whole chicken. Our packaging states “Giblets may be missing.” Unfortunately, because we also sell the giblets separately in bulk, there are times when we do not have the giblets to include in the whole chickens. Also, if the giblets do not meet our quality standards, they will not be included with the chicken. When available, we do continue to include the giblets. At this time, we are not equipped to run different packaging stating if or not giblets are included.
Giblet question – I froze my chicken and was planning to cook it from frozen in the instapot. How do I know if there is a baggie of giblets inside the chicken cavity or not? I’m wondering if I will have to thaw it prior to cooking???
Hi Celena, you should be able to see if there is a bag of giblets inside–there should be part of the paper bag sticking out if there is a bag of giblets inside your chicken. If you can’t tell, you may have to thaw the bird enough to be able take a look in the cavity, because you would want to remove the bag prior to cooking.

Absolutely delicious! Usually buy your frozen breaded chicken for the kids to cook when I’m not home, but your fresh whole chicken is succulent and sumptuously delicious.
I roasted two B&E chickens for Christmas. The result was restaurant-quality. The meat was so moist. With one chicken I was fortunate to get the heart liver and kidneys in the giblet package. The other just had the neck. I stuffed the birds with thyme, lemon and garlic for roasting and the result was so fabulous that I am making another one today just for myself!
I won’t buy any other chicken. I spachcock it and place it in the refrigerator after salting it. cook it on a roasting rack in a cookie sheet. works great on either a grill or in the oven.

Excellent! For several years I have tried to make fried chicken like mom made. Pan fried in real lard. Now I have a real chicken! It turned out great!
