Bell & Evans Supports Pennsylvania Youth Ag, Communities in Big Ways

 Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania (February 4, 2020) Bell & Evans purchased 53 animals totaling more than $25,000 at the Jr. Livestock Sale at the 2020 Pennsylvania Farm Show in January. This level of support for youth agriculture from Bell & Evans is not new. In 2019, Bell & Evans participated in six youth livestock sales in Beaver, Berks, Bloomsburg, Dauphin, Lebanon and Schuylkill counties including the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show and contributed more than $82,000 in animal purchases.

Bell & Evans supports many other local school and youth programs, public services and nonprofits with monetary contributions and product donations. In 2019, Bell & Evans’ local charitable contributions exceeded $350,000.

“It’s important to our family that we give back to the communities where our team members and growers reside and especially to our local community of Fredericksburg where our facilities are located,” said Executive Vice President Margo Sechler.
