Bell & Evans chicken nuggets are made from 100% whole breast meat. That’s “whole” as in “one piece.” Picture buying fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts from your local grocery store. You take them home, cut each into four to six pieces and then bread them to make for dinner. That’s essentially what you’re getting from Bell & Evans. Our nuggets are as close to homemade as you can buy from any store.
Most other nuggets are marketed as “All White Meat” or similar language to resemble a whole breast nugget. They are made from chopped and formed meat. If you read the package, it will likely say “nugget shaped patties.” The ground meat usually contains a significant percentage of rib meat – the fatty extension of white meat that hangs off an untrimmed breast – because it’s not marketable on its own. Breast meat is more valuable, so less is used by commodity producers. Chopped and formed nuggets have a different texture and taste than our whole breast meat nuggets.
If you’re looking for a high quality chicken nugget to serve your family, Bell & Evans 100% whole breast meat nuggets are the right choice for you.
Yeah! Great (albeit almost sarcastic) description of true or faux nuggets!! Keep up the good work!

When I was diagnosed with Celiac disease it was a challenge to rid my body of the gluten.
My family insisted that chicken was chicken and there was Nothing I could possibly do.
When I discovered Bell and Evans gluten free products I honestly couldn’t believe it was truly gluten free.
Well it was and it is!!! It made a significant difference in my diet and health I could taste the difference from other competitors.
Even my skeptical family realized there was a difference!
Thank you Bell and Evans and thank you for taking the time to talk to me on the phone and explain what makes your product gluten free!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Lorena!
