Teriyaki Marinade
Sweet, savory, and full of classic Asian-inspired flavor, this homemade Teriyaki Marinade is an easy way to transform our Boneless Skin-on Chicken Thighs into a delicious meal. Low-sodium soy sauce, brown sugar, fresh ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and green onions create a perfectly balanced marinade that’s ideal for grilling, baking, or stir-frying.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 TB Rice wine vinegar
- 2 TB Brown sugar
- 1 knob (1/4-inch) Ginger, peeled, finely grated
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tsp Toasted sesame oil
- 2 Green onions, finely chopped
Preparation
- Combine the ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the low-sodium soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, toasted sesame oil, and chopped green onions until the sugar is dissolved.
- Mix well: Continue whisking until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the marinade is well blended.
- Marinate or store: Pour the marinade over the chicken, turning to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 8 hours for deeper flavor. Store any leftover marinade in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
