Chipotle Dry Rub

Add bold, smoky flavor with this homemade Chipotle Dry Rub Recipe. Ingredients

  • 3 TB Chipotle powder
  • 3 TB Brown sugar
  • 2 TB Smoked paprika
  • 2 TB Garlic powder
  • 2 TB Onion powder
  • 2 TB Ground cumin
  • 2 TB Salt
  • 1 TB Black pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl, breaking up any clumps if needed. Transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place for up to 4 to 6 months.
  2. Use about one tablespoon per pound of chicken, applying evenly before cooking. Rubs are perfect for grilling, roasting, pan-searing or roasting.
