Because it’s best to keep things simple when cooking on the grill, Bell & Evans Chicken Drumstick Lollipops are a top-notch choice, especially if you’re entertaining a crowd. The all-dark meat is tender and full of flavor, and the convenient shape makes them a breeze to prep. First, raid the spice rack to make a zesty dry rub, then hit the chicken on the grill for about 20 minutes. All you need to finish them is a squeeze of grilled lime and a dash of fresh herbs!
Ingredients
- 1 Pkg Bell & Evans Chicken Drumstick Lollipops
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Dried thyme
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp White pepper
- Vegetable oil, for brushing grates
- 2 limes, halved
- 2 TB Chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
- Mix the salt, paprika, cayenne, cumin, thyme, oregano, onion powder and pepper together in a small bowl. Rub the spice mixture over the chicken and under the skin.
- Heat the grill or grill pan to medium heat and brush the grates with oil. Grill the chicken, turning occasionally, until golden-brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 15-20 minutes. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- While chicken is cooking, grill limes, cut-side-down, until lightly charred, about 1 minute.
- Garnish the chicken with parsley and serve with grilled lime halves.
